After an Alaska Air flew through the eclipse over the pacific. Used photo's taken from aircraft to get the great cloud lighting. iPad and Procreate.

Draft #1, where I have stuck close to my photo taken a couple of years ago of this lush path at the end of the Hope tunnel path. Next step - replace the path with a stream. Lots of detail here that is drawn, but main purpose was to check out the folage brushes in Procreate. Drawn on Ipad.

Pace Kids Mural Idea. Original plan was to have magnetic painted roadways high and low throughout, but I soon realised it might be a bit frustrating for the kids to not be able to reach the higher sections. Another thing to be dropped was the Peace Bridge on the far right.

Pace Kids Wall Mural - This is in a fairly narrow corridor, so I took a series of photos and stitched them together for the previous image.

Pace Kids Wall Mural - Photo Mosaic. 8 ft by around 16ft, acrylic. This was started in November 2011 and finished by the following January. The buildings depicted from left to right are the Saddle Dome, The Bow Tower, Calgary Chamber of Commerce, Banker's Hall, Pace Kids building (on McLeod Trail), the Calgary Tower, and the Devon (ex-Canterra) Tower. The roadways are painted with magnetic paint so that the kids could play with toy cars that had magnets stuck to the bottom. Paint supplies were donated by Devon.

Columbia Valley. This is modeled from the 'California' picture I did some years ago, but this time I've used the more familiar landscape of the Columbia Valley, near Invermere, British Columbia

Dark Tower. I must have been reading Lord of the Rings when I did this...

Wolf and Cub. This is another early work based off some photo's in wildlife books.

Pony. My daughter (7 yrs old) asked for a pony. I'm presuming she meant for me to draw.
